Patrick Cornelius
"Coach Corn"
Pat Cornelius is the Founder and Owner of Upper Hand Lacrosse, and assistant coach at Division 1 Jacksonville University. Pat is a former goalie who has spread his love for the sport and position in Jacksonville since graduating from the University of Lynchburg in 2019.
Pat’s goalie coaching resume consists of training John Galloway during his final two years in the PLL, as well as 4 straight years of goalie awards:
2024 ASUN Defensive Player of the Year, 2 x Inside Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mentions, 3 x 1st Team All-Conference Goalies, and 1 x 2nd Team All-Conference.
Local boys and girls goalies that Pat has trained have also gone on to play in college at: UPENN, Utah, Air Force, Radford, Colgate, and more!

Taylor was the Defensive Coordinator at Louisiana State University (MCLA D1) and helped them earn back-to-back Lone Star Alliance Conference Championships in 2019 & 2021. The Tigers were nationally recognized for their defense and one of 16 MCLA D1 Teams that made the MCLA National Tournament.

Cooper Braet

Cooper Braet is an Ohio Native with tons of lacrosse background. Playing college lacrosse at Ohio Weslyan has provided him with great knowledge of the game that he spreads with passion throughout youth lacrosse.

Nathan Kapp
Nathan is a proud alumnus and five-year starter as a face-off specialist for the Jacksonville University men’s lacrosse team. During his collegiate career, he set multiple records at JU, including the most ground balls, the highest face-off win percentage, and the most face-off wins in program history. Nathan capped his senior year ranked in the top 15 for Division I face-off specialists nationwide.
Nathan's coaching journey began during his freshman year of high school, and he has been dedicated to sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of players ever since.
Before college, Nathan achieved:
• Two-time All-American honors
• Two-time All-State recognition
• The distinction of being the first Division I lacrosse commit from Wisconsin outside of Marquette University
Teddy Transou

Teddy Transou is a Tallahassee, FL native and Duke lacrosse alumni of the graduating class of 2019. Teddy played LSM and also took faceoffs while at Duke. Teddy is a working musician here in Jacksonville and is excited to share his knowledge of the game with the local lacrosse community.

Ethan is a redshirt junior face-off men for the Jacksonville men's lacrosse team. Ethan has been coaching since his freshman year of high school and loving spreading his passion for the game to others.

● Was named a Georgia Second Team All-State honoree.

Quinn Fuller

Quinn is a redshirt junior defensemen for the Jacksonville men's lacrosse team. Quinn loves spending time with the youth and help them learn the game.
Prior to Jacksonville:
● A three-time WPIAL Champion during prep career.
● Was a member of the 2022 Pennsylvania State Championship team.
● Named a two-time defensive MVP.
● The 2022 WPIAL Player of the Year.
● Also a three-year varsity letterwinner in football, played quarterback and free safety on the gridiron.

Jack Taylor

Jack is a junior offensive midfielder and captain for the Jacksonville Men's lacrosse team. Jack was amongst the leading point scorers for the Dolphins and is excited to help out the youth level around the community!

● An All-ISL League First Team selection.
● Named a Boston Lacrosse All-American.
● Earned Under Armor New England All-American honors.
● Also played varsity hockey during prep career.
Gavin Angel

Gavin is a Junior Midfielder for the Jacksonville Men’s Lacrosse team. Gavin has spent time on both offense and defense, giving him a ton of knowledge in all aspects of the game.

● Named a US Lacrosse All-American.
● Earned All-Conference and All-State honors during his prep career.
● Also played football, earning All-Conference and All-Region recognition.
